The Relief Nursery & QSL

The Relief Nursery will celebrate its 20th annual “Main Event” Saturday, April 24th at the Regional Sports Center in Springfield. “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” promises to be an enchanted evening for everyone in attendance. The night’s festivities will include a silent auction, a live auction, dinner, live music, and dancing.
 
The Main Event is the Relief Nursery’s primary fundraiser of the year and provides vital funding for programs which serve at-risk children and families in our community.   To help “offset” the costs (pun intended) QSL donated the promotional printing for this year’s event. QSL’s contribution ensures the maximum fundraising opportunity for the Relief Nursery by defraying a good portion of the expense of putting on such a large production.
 
“I believe in what the Relief Nursery does,” says Doug Koke, owner of QSL. “They are committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. It is in the best interest of our community to ensure care and education for our youngest members and their parents, and that is why contributing to the Relief Nursery is paramount.”
 
Irene Alltucker, Executive Director of the Relief Nursery, also commented. “QSL has been a longtime and generous supporter of the Relief Nursery. Our materials are always more effective because of the quality of their printing. Our partnership with them adds a touch of class to our organization and our donors recognize and appreciate QSL’s donations. Because of the help we receive from QSL we are able to stretch dollars to continue to provide help to families and keep children safe.”
