QSL & the environment

Our sustainable commitment FSC

QSL has always been committed to common sense sustainability: recycling waste, using sensible inks, minimizing excess waste. So when the Forest Stewardship Council started offering a certification for printers who would agree to practice their environmental standards, we decided to join their campaign—even though we didn’t really need to change our own policies.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a non-profit agency committed to promoting the responsible management of the world’s forests. You can now purchase FSC-certified wood at the lumber store, enjoy coffee in an FSC-certified cup, and choose to print with an FSC-certified printer. In addition to our certification, QSL can help you choose papers that are better for the environment, help you cut down on waste by maximizing a press-sheet, and think through life-cycle implications of your project.
